the United Methodist Church, we practice Open Communion. We believe that the
communion table is a Means of Grace, or a place where an individual can come
to meet God. We believe that the only thing an individual must posses to
come to the table is a repentant heart. this means that they have recognized
their sins, are admitting what they have done is wrong before God, and come
to Him asking for His forgiveness. Therefore it does not matter if a person
is a member of our church, a member of the United Methodist Church, a member
of a church anywhere, young or old, male or female... the Lord's Table at
League City United Methodist Church is open to you.
