Lighthouse Christian Ministries (LCM) started in 1997, serving the Bacliff/San Leon communities and is an interdenominational Christian Outreach mission dedicated to assisting our neighbors in need by providing emergency financial assistance and food for short term help, along with educational and job placement assistance for long term help.

LCM operates a resale and gift shop that supports the outreach programs of the ministry. This allows 100% of the monetary donations to go directly to families in need.

LCM is dedicated to serving each individual with respect and love, through Christ.   Check out some of the volunteer opportunities at LCM below. 

Nutrition Program- Opportunity for Individuals or Groups
LCM in partnership with the Houston Food Bank is participating in the Summer Nutrition Program where eligible families receive a 50lb box of food to help supplement their summer meals.  For a successful distribution, 5-10 volunteers are needed from 4pm-7:30pm on the following dates August 10 & 19, September 7 & 16.  To volunteer your time please e-mail erika@lighthousechristianministries.info or call 281-339-3033.   

Clean Team Needed- Opportunity for Groups
LCM could use small groups that are willing to donate a few hours to help keep our facility clean and tidy.  Contact Linda@lighthousechristianministries.info to work out arrangements.

Back 2 School- Opportunity for Groups
LCM will be distributing backpacks and school supplies to some clients.  If you are  interested in helping to assemble the backpacks, please contact erika@lighthousechristianministries.info. 

Food and Toiletry Drive- Opportunity for Groups
Is your church, Sunday School class, Girl/Boy Scout troop looking for a great project...how about hosting a food and/or toiletry drive.  Please contact erika@lighthousechristianministries.info to schedule one today!

Pregnancy and Parenting Support Center- Opportunity for Groups and Individuals
LCM is excited about the Pregnancy and Parenting Support Center.  There are several ways to volunteer in this area as groups or individuals.  A weekend training for individuals wishing to serve in the center will be conducted in September.  Groups  interested in hosting baby showers, diaper/baby food drives, or participate in a baby bottle campaign to collect pocket change for 90 days are all great ways to support the center.  For more information on any of these, please contact erika@lighthousechristianministries.info.

ROOTS Community Garden- Opportunity for Groups and Individuals
