Dana Park, Church Secretary

I am brand new to League City United Methodist Church.   My heart is for the mission of the church, to reach out to our neighbors and help them know God’s amazing love.  It’s a thrilling time to join in the work here. I’ve served on staff in two other churches in the area for almost 20 years and each of the churches I’ve worked with has had wonderful building campaigns.  It is a joy to see God at work in the process.

I’ve served in my home church in a variety of ways, Women’s Missionary Union Director, Children’s Sunday School Director, taught Sunday School, worked with Youth, directed VBS and led Women’s Ministry.  It has been a joy to be on the “wherever God needs me team.”

It’s readily apparent that this church has a heart for God’s people and for ministering in our community.  I’m looking forward to seeing what God has in mind for the new buildings and how His church in League City will minister.
