Bible Studies

Ladies' Bible Studies (LIFT) -- LCUMC has always encouraged Bible study and small group growth.  Growing spiritually through study with other women has been accomplished through studying various sources, such as Max Lucado's books/Bible studies, Women of Faith Bible studies, and Beth Moore Bible studies.

The women's grous LIFT (Ladies in Faith Together) meets on Wednesdays at 10:30 am in the conference room in the administrative hall of the church.

The close of the summer break will be on Aug 28th with a lunch at Rustika Cafe & Bakery:  Under the Oak, 610 E Main St., League City, TX.  Spouses and friends are welcome to join us for lunch!

Our new Bible Study this fall will begin on Sept. 4th and  is entitled: Cultivating a Life of Character: A Woman After God's Own Heart Series, Judges & Ruth by Elizabeth George.  Ten books have been ordered, and if you are interested in buying one, it will cost $8 (this includes shipping).  Call the church office to have one set aside for you.  (Expected arrival is 8/29/19, with distribution in church the following Sunday, 9/1/19.)  Please consider coming and bring a friend as we begin this new series.

Everyone is invited to attend and bring a friend!
