LCUMC Adult Ministries seeks to fulfill our church mission statement of Worshiping, Sharing, Serving and Winning Disciples for Christ by providing opportunities to help adults grow as disciples and eventually assisting the work of the Holy Spirit in bringing people to Christ and helping them grow to their full potential as disciples of Christ.  Our hope is that LCUMC will be a place where you will grow in your love for God and His Word, a place where you can serve Christ, a place where you will make new friends, and a place where you will feel at home.

Adult Sunday School – Eleven unique adult classes which meet Sunday Morning from 9:55 - 10:45 AM to study and grow in community with one another.  Classes come in a wide variety of "flavors"--large and small, discussion and lecture formats, young and old.  Couples, singles, men and women...no matter who you are, you will find a place to belong in Sunday School at LCUMC!

Stephen Ministry -- Our congregation's Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and the community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.  You do not have to be a member of this congregation to receive care from Stephen Ministry.  Stephen Ministers are members who listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people who are facing a crisis or going through tough times. 

Celebration – A ministry especially for women which includes a quarterly gathering of women for a time of worship, fellowship, prayer and a wonderful message.  It’s a mini-retreat every time!

Master’s Men – A quarterly gathering of men committed to Christ.  Our time together includes a hearty breakfast, a time of fellowship, prayer and a message especially for men.

Pastor's Bible Study -- Every Wednesday at 6:45 PM one of our pastors leads a Bible Study on a book of the Bible or  a current topic of global concern.  Pastor's Bible Study may be viewed online as well.  Study notes are also available online.  Click on the "Pastor's Bible Study" link to be directed to the videos and study notes.  

Disciple Bible Study – Four different long-term in-depth studies of Scripture.  The second-generation Disciple Bible Study, Jesus in the Gospels, is currently running on Sunday evenings.

Ladies' Bible Studies -- We usually have at least one daytime ladies' Bible study running and at least one evening ladies' Bible study running. We enjoy studying Max Lucado's books/Bible studies, Women of Faith Bible studies, and Beth Moore Bible studies.  Call the church to find out what days we are currently meeting!

Men's Bible Study -- Thursday mornings at 10 AM men of all ages meet in room 134 with our Senior Pastor to study the Bible.  If you are a stay at home dad, retired or have Thursdays off work, please join us!

Annual Ladies Retreat – A weekend getaway for women to grow in their faith and enjoy the company of one another.

Every Member in Ministry – An opportunity for every member of the church to actively serve the Lord in at least one ministry of the church, and thereby becoming a more contagious witness for Jesus Christ.
