What is the future of League City United Methodist Church?

Will we be able in the coming years to expand our ministries in this growing area?

With our current location at its capacity and the population of League City projected to reach 155,000 by 2025, our church family has been blessed with a wonderful opportunity! The Long Range Planning Team has identified 22 acres of land at the corner of Brittany Bay Blvd. (now "League City Parkway") and Calder Road as the perfect location for the continued expansion of our Growing Ministries in our growing community.

We are engaged in a Capital Stewardship Campaign entitled “A Foundation for the Future” that will enable us to purchase this property. Our challenge is to raise $2,000,000 in pledges to be paid over the next 3 years in order to acquire this land for our family’s future. Without this foundation, the future of League City United Methodist Church is limited. Developers are acquiring properties in our area rapidly and this opportunity will cease to exist if we do not act now. The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized within the lifetime of the opportunity.

We must look to God for the achievement of this goal. As we stand and give together in love and faith, our vision will become a reality and God will be glorified!  Remember the words of Paul in II Corinthians 9:7 “Let each one do as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.”
